Hi, I am Denise Rainford. As a Licensed Acupuncturist with the BAcC I practice both Chinese & Japanese Acupuncture and specialise in: Fertility for both female & male issues (incl. Natural, IVF & ICSI procedures; and Emotional issues (stress, anxiety & depression). I am also a qualified teacher in Constitutional Facial Acupuncture, Sound Vibration Therapy & Therapeutic Masseuse, Qigong & Astrology for health. Plus a separate business selling & training you in Therapeutic Essential Oils for Health & Wellbeing. I hold clinics in Leicester & South West Wales where I treat a range of physical and emotional health issues.

Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a system of healing which has been practiced in Japan & China for thousands of years. Although often described as a means of pain relief, it is in fact used to treat people with a wide range of illnesses. Its focus is on improving the overall wellbeing of the patient, rather than the isolated treatment of specific symptoms.
According to traditional Chinese philosophy, our health is dependent on our body’s motivating energy (known as Qi) moving in a smooth and balanced way through a series of channels beneath the skin.

I cannot recommend Denise enough. Over the years I have struggled with a bad back, due to car accidents. I have tried regular massages, physiotherapy and courses of pain killers. None of which have helped long term. Recently I had been feeling really low in energy, yet sleepless nights married with my bad back I thought I would try an alternative therapy. Admittedly I was sceptical about accupuncture as I could not see how it could help all these different issues. Nonetheless I thought I’d give it a go.
